Secret Stairs #3: Glassell Park North and Beyond, 3 miles, 266 steps.

I have to quote from the Secret Stairs book on this one because I actually don't know where the hell we were. "A long, lopsided loop through one of the city's least-known neighborhoods, featuring ancient wooden staircases and towering views of the San Gabriel Mountains, Occidental College (one of Obama's alma maters,) and the hidden back side of Forest Lawn." The view at the top WAS stunning. The photo shows one of the rickety staircases that went on and on and on. The small strip of gray at the top of the photo is MORE steps. Whew!
