Secret Stairs #18: The "Music Box Loop" in Silver Lake, 2.5 miles, 705 steps. 

Includes the stairway Laurel and Hardy hauled a crated piano up (more than once) in the Oscar-winning short "The Music Box" for Hal Roach in 1932. This is a photo of my trek-buddy Barbara Beck at the foot of the stairs. You can't see the top of the 133 step climb but it was (gulping for air) awesome.
